The start of the year saw two Pharmacy 777 pharmacy teams recognised in the WA Pharmacy Guild's National Awards as WA's Community Pharmacy of the Year.

Pharmacy 777 East Perth was awarded winner.

Pharmacy 777 Cottesloe was a finalist.

2025 was a very humbling year, with many of our teams and team members recognised with awards for their dedicated work in health care and Community Pharmacy. Awards included:

Pharmacy 777 named WA Large Business of the Year at the 2024 WA Business Awards - shining a spotlight on the exceptional talent and innovation driving the State’s success.

Laura Stewart is named the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia's 2023 WA Pharmacist of the Year!

In 2024, Laura is also honoured as national Medicare Champion.

These prestigious moments recognise Pharmacists who go above and beyond and Laura's dedication to community pharmacy in the Pilbara has been unwavering for the last 17 years.

Pharmacy 777 Shoalwater is awarded Pharmacy Guild of Australia's National Pharmacy of the Year at the Australian Professional Pharmacy (APP) Conference.

Pharmacy 777 Shoalwater is committed to serving its community of predominantly elderly patients and maturing families and was also awarded the Pharmacy of the Year for Excellence in Community Engagement.

Pharmacy 777 celebrate 60 years in the Industry and has grown to over 75 locations across WA and interstate.

In 1962, astronaut John Glenn famously called Perth the City of Light while orbiting in his Friendship 7 Spacecraft.

Meanwhile, in a chemist below his family home in Applecross, a Pharmacist was going downstairs to turn on the pharmacy lights at night. At a time when retailers were closed, the pharmacy was open to support the local community and the innovative spirit of Pharmacy 777 was born.

15th November 1962 marks the day where it all started 60 years ago, with our flagship location established as Pharmacy 777 Applecross.

Pharmacy 777 Managing Director Kim Brotherson reflects on the last six decades and shares his views on the growth and future of Community Pharmacy.

Pharmacy 777's Founder and former Chair, Mr Michael Dillon was recognised in the 2020 Queen’s Birthday Honours List for “significant service to the pharmacy profession, and to the community” and appointed as Member of the Order of Australia (AM).

Michael's many achievements, included his win of the 2015 Pharmaceutical Society of WA (PSWA) Eric Kirk Memorial Award; being the founding president of the Nights Chemists Association who was involved in modernising pharmacy retail trading hours and his dedication from 1962 to 2016 as Pharmacist and Partner of the Pharmacy 777 Group.

“In this list we see all the positives that are in our community – we see the great ideas, we see the hard-work, we see the love and compassion for fellow human beings – it’s a microcosm of Australia,” said the Governor-General His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd).
