When Did You Last Have a Health Check?

Chronic diseases such as Heart Disease, Stroke and Type 2 Diabetes can be prevented through early screening and lifestyle modifications.

A Health Check can help identify your risk of developing these conditions. Your Pharmacist will explain your results, provide lifestyle advice on how to reduce your risk and refer you to your Doctor if required.

Pharmacy 777 Health Checks take place in a private consultation room and take 20 minutes.

Your Pharmacist will ask a series of questions relating to your health including;

• Family history
• Health history
• Lifestyle, E.g. Diet, exercise, alcohol consumption

Your Pharmacist will also measure your blood pressure, height, weight, waist circumference, and total and HDL cholesterol*.

*If eligible for the CVD Absolute Risk Assessment.

You will receive an instant report, an explanation of your results and advice on lifestyle changes that could help you reduce your risk of developing Cardiovascular Disease, Type 2 Diabetes, and potentially other chronic conditions.

If required, your Pharmacist will also provide you with a referral to your GP.

A Health Check costs $40, including your test results and a comprehensive report.

Eligible HBF members can claim a fully covered, Health Check. You must be covered for a Health Check on your Extras cover to be eligible to claim a benefit.
