Frequently Asked Questions
No, there is no need to bring anything to the appointment.
No need to prepare, your Pharmacist will go through the screening questionnaire with you.
You can attend any time prior to birth of your child, however, we recommend that you attend no later than the start of the third trimester to allow sufficient time for health professional support and follow-up if required.
After your 60-minute appointment you will receive a personalised breastfeeding risk factor screening report outlining any risk factors that may impact breastfeeding outcomes.
If any risk factors have been identified, the Pharmacist will provide a referral to the appropriate health care professional for management, support and a plan moving forward.
