It’s now Thursday of Women’s Health Week, a good time to check in for a moment. Have you done anything for yourself this week for your own wellbeing, no matter how small? And have you encouraged the women around you to do the same?
As a proud Community Supporting Partner for more than 10 years, Pharmacy 777 is once again supporting Australia's largest event dedicated to the health and wellbeing of women, girls and gender-diverse people.
Jean Hailes - Opens in new tab Women's Health Week, 7-11th September 2026, encourages women across Australia to challenge the limits placed on them and put their health first by simply taking the first step.
With the theme Do It Anyway, the campaign recognises that barriers such as self-doubt, lack of time, fatigue and competing demands can make health feel difficult to prioritise.
Rather than striving for perfection, women are encouraged to make small, achievable changes on their own terms, whether that’s scheduling a check-up, taking a daily walk or making healthier food choices. Because when it comes to health and wellbeing, starting small still counts as starting.
“Women are often the health care champion of their household or family and we see them focusing on everyone else's needs before their own,” said Pharmacy 777 Business Development Pharmacist Ana Sivak.
"Women’s Health Week is a great reminder for women to not overlook the small things when it comes to their health and wellbeing.
It’s important to take the time to talk to your Pharmacist and GP about anything concerning them. A conversation can mean all the difference to access the support available.
Pharmacists are uniquely positioned to make a meaningful difference by providing accessible support to women who may have delayed or overlooked their own health concerns.
Encouraging women to prioritise their wellbeing is vital, not only for their own health but also for those who rely on them.
