Part of this sponsorship for 2023 was a grant that allows pharmacy students to apply to travel to a pharmacy conference of their choice anywhere in Australia. This allows them to access the latest research, new medications, emerging technologies and pharmacy trends to learn about best practice patient care.
This year's winners Taylor Chalmers, Rachel Lawson and Bridget Cleary were awarded at their Pre-Prac Dinner.
"Congratulations to Taylor, Rachel and Bridget. I hope these grants will allow you opportunities for personal and professional growth for yourselves, your peers and the communities you will be practicing in," Pharmacy 777 Managing Director Kim Brotherson said.
Pharmacy 777 will also be expanding the sponsorship arrangement this year to run two workshops for students on travel health and sleep apnoea, this allows us to really highlight to students the breadth of clinical practice that Pharmacy 777 Pharmacists and Interns are exposed to.
More recently Pharmacy 777 are sponsoring a new podcast the UWAMPS team have launched, Australian Pharmacy Careers Podcast.
