Dr Dishari has over eight years of experience in public mental health. After completing her primary medical degree in Bangladesh, she began her medical career as a General Practitioner in Australia before undertaking specialist psychiatry training at Monash Health.

Dr Sarkar takes a compassionate, patient-centred approach to care, tailoring treatment to each patient’s unique needs and cultural background. Her special interest in cultural psychiatry reflects her belief that mental health is shaped by personal experiences, community, and cultural influences.
