Pharmacy 777 is proud to announce the sponsorship of two scholarships for students completing the Doctor of Pharmacy program at The University of Western Australia (UWA).
The announcement was made on Friday 13 June during a celebration marking 20 years of UWA’s Master of Pharmacy course.
These scholarships are an important step in Pharmacy 777’s strong commitment to supporting the next generation of Pharmacists and contributing to the evolution of the profession. As the role of the pharmacist continues to expand in Australia, it is critical that students are equipped with the advanced clinical knowledge, leadership capabilities, and patient-centred mindset needed to deliver high-quality, accessible care in our communities.
Pharmacy 777 is committed to promoting innovation within community pharmacy and extending the range of personalised health services that can be offered by community pharmacists.
"At Pharmacy 777 it’s our vision to deliver services to meet the healthcare needs of our community through personalised, collaborative care. By supporting UWA’s Doctor of Pharmacy program we’re investing in the future of pharmacy being service-based, clinical pharmacy practice in a community setting," said Pharmacy 777 Managing Director Kim Brotherson.
As Australia moves toward implementing an expanded scope of pharmacist practice, initiatives like these scholarships will help ensure the profession is ready to step into this next era. Pharmacy 777 is proud to support the development of future pharmacists who will shape and strengthen the health of communities across the country.
