Pharmacy 777 Applecross Village Pharmacist is leading the way of fellow early career Pharmacists, taking out the 2019 W.A. Early Career Pharmacist Development Award for her efforts.

Lusi Sheehan, based at Pharmacy 777 Applecross Village, has been recognised for the second time in the last three years for her dedication to the development of pharmacy practice and services at the annual Western Australian Pharmacist Awards night hosted by the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia (PSA) in March.

Following the 2017 win of the Pharmacy Practice Innovation Award for development and provision of wound care services to the community; the 2019 honour has yet again set the bar higher.

Awarded by PSA National President Dr Chris Freeman and PSA WA President Dr Fei Sim, the Early Career Pharmacist Development Award was in recognition of Lusi's work in raising practice standards and providing a model of practice for her fellow Early Career Pharmacists.

“Lusi has extensive experience in community pharmacy and is a passionate advocate for the development of professional services,” Dr Sim said.
